Mumma's First Email From Her Missionary

Hey Mum! 

Just made it into the Provo MTC about an hour ago!

Already had a full tour and got most of the stuff that I need to be able to learn and study which is awesome! I am still alive which is good to know!

I have two companions so were in a trio.
Elder James Aaron Slade (WOW COINCIDENCE WITH THE NAMES RIGHT?!) and Elder Johnathan Freeman are both lovely blokes and I look forward to serving with them over the course of the next 6 weeks!

Portuguese should be an interesting language to learn to be honest so I am very excited to see how the next little while pans out.

Thank you for letting me know you are safe and keen to start...  I love you so much.. I know you are going to be AWESOME and like a sponge!!

Remember the Lord has blessed you with the gift of tongues!!! Rely, trust, call and lean on that promise and you will do well..

I'm so proud of you... I'm looking forward to hearing about your adventures, blessings and the goodness of the Lord!!!

Elder James Chronicals - May 14th 2019

Ethan James            Tue, May 14, 9:02 AM (1 day ago)     Boa Tarde/Bom dia Irmãos e Irmãs! It's so good to be able to email you all on Preparation Day! It's been just over 5 days since I left, and since then, I have spent my time here in Provo, Utah, at the Missionary Training Centre! While I reside here, my Preparation Day is on Monday, and during that time, I get to visit the temple across the road, I get to do my washing, eat breakfast and lunch, have an afternoon nap (not really but I do anyway) and we have a class at 6PM. It's currently 3:30PM on Monday which means its 7:30AM on Tuesday in the future! How's that for yah!? -=| THE MTC |=- The Missionary Training Centre or MTC for short is great! The food is actually amazing. What a Pair of Worn out Suit Pants Brought me....

Mumma Post-  I was asked by a Senior Sister Missionary this week to help one of our Elders out with fixing a few of his Suit Pants.. He was a little desperate as 3 pairs had "let go" and needed repairs... As my first ever Dear Elder (DE) Elder Ethan James left to serve on Tuesday (7/5/19) this week it was an absolute pleasure to do this for the DE in our Stake (I don't know his name but I hope to find out what his name is) As I looked at the seams that had come undone I began to think of my DE and sent a silent pray h eavenward that he too will be looked after.. (I know he will be and is... but you know.. thoughts and all) I cried a little as I'm still in the tearing up for the smallest thought about the love I can not shower on him each and every time I think of him...
